As a Brand Designer, Art Director, and Illustrator, I continually strive to develop visual solutions that express creative and marketing into a cohesive effort.

VISUAL FRAMEWORK & GUIDE

VISUAL FRAMEWORK & GUIDE
Just Dance 2023 Toolkit

The Project
Based on the Just Dance 2023 keyart, I created the broader marketing visual framework, outlining details needed to market the new game. This included the development of a visual hierarchy of CTA’s and taglines, captions, and container elements, which Ubisoft refers to as a toolkit.

The Challenge
The keyart file itself proved unintuitive and had many nuances, so I created an adjustment and composition guide to help other designers utilize the keyart consistently. In the end, this toolkit was designed as a guide to help the team maintain a cohesive look for Just Dance’s online marketing.

The Solution
This year saw different kinds of messaging, where the brand wanted to choose to highlight the new features or the featured tracks. I created the visual baseline for various communications options, allowing the brand team and partners to choose what fits best or combine options depending on the need.

I also developed the Deluxe and Ultimate logo and keyart variations. Since the logo rebrand was so new, and the keyart featured the game's new interface, we kept a more straightforward approach and developed a specialized border element to distinguish between the editions. A holiday-themed keyart was also required this year, and through a few rounds of creative, holiday lights won out again, but with a new look to match this year’s art and border style look of the DLX and ULT editions.
